  1. Pre-Pharmacy
Hi, My name is Neng. I am senior doing a BA in Biology from a University. I will finished my bachelor degree. My overall GPA is 3.37. I am a student of color from low income and first generation background. I have quiet several experiences involve with on campus students groups, healthcare work experiences, and pharmacy experiences.

I am planning to apply to University of Minnesota and University of Wisconsin pharmacy school. I feel like I nailed all of the criterias that pharmacy school are looking for, except my PCAT score and of course my interview (not finished my pharmCAS application, plan to get that in by october). what do you think of my chance of getting in? any constructive comments to improve my chance of getting in? thanks before hands guys.

my PCAT composite score is 56 PR
Biology: 63 PR
Chem: 57 PR
Reading: 58 PR
Quant: 53 PR

Look at the schools on this site.
Here's Minnesota: http://pharmacy-schools.startclass.com/l/53/University-of-Minnesota-Twin-Cities-UM
Here's Wisconsin: http://pharmacy-schools.startclass.com/l/115/University-of-Wisconsin-Madison-UW
By the look of their stats, I would say you would have little to no chance of getting into either. I have the same composite as you, and I wouldn't even both applying to those schools. UM requires a PCAT of 70+, and UW's average is 81st. The odds are not in your favor. You'll have the highest chance at UW.
With a lower PCAT score, like yours, I'd focus on applying to mid-tier schools and a few tops ones that your PCAT meets the composite requirement. For example, I'm applying to UK (a top tier school) early decision, but they don't have a PCAT min requirement and prefer students 60+, but as long as your scores are well rounded and above 50 (which yours are), you'll have a chance there.
I haven't looked into all the top tier schools, but apply ASAP! Don't wait until October, get that done early and apply so you have the highest chance of getting into your top choice.
Also, if you're set on going to one of those schools, retake study and take the PCAT until your composite is 70+.

Pharmacy schools don't discriminate against GPA or PCAT score, let alone race. They favor those who sign away $200k+ in student loans.
