I'm trying to apply summer 2015. I'm currently redeeming my cgpa. I've listed the scenarios below. Please let me know which I should go along with. I will be taking 14 credits for grade replacement. The remaining credits are from 3/4 credit classes.

Take 26 credits (7 classes) to bring up cGPA to a 3.30
or
Take 18 credits (5 classes) to bring up cGPA to a 3.20
or
Take 14 credits (4 classes-all retakes) to bring up cGPA to 3.14

32 MCAT

I assume that you assume that you'll get an "A" in every class? If you think it's doable to ace those 26 credits, I would say go for that.

It's certainly possible to get into a DO school with a 30+ MCAT and 3.2, but that extra bump (for only two more classes) could mean something depending on the schools you're interested in.

Best of luck.

Think about your track record with course loads in the past. Have they been high, like 18+ credits? And did you get a 4.0 GPA? This should help you determine what credit load is reasonable.

I've not done so well in the past and have taken around 15 credits a semester. I'm getting a 4.0 this semester with 17 credits and score top 90s on each exam. I believe my study habits have changed and I am capable of getting all A's from now on.

capable and actually getting A's is entirely different. When you overload on courses you won't have time to devote to all the classes and you may struggle. I suggest you take 17 credits where you found success and keep it that way. And if you want to raise your stats, spending an extra semester finishing thes rest of classes would help your applications. Take a gap year and shadow/work and apply in 2016.

17 credits and 26 credits are quite different.

First off, I think it depends on where you want to go. Do you want to go to a particular school, or do you just want to get in somewhere? If it's the latter, then I think you would be fine with a 3.2/32. If you want to get into a particular school that is more competitive, then it's obviously better to have the 3.3 over the 3.2. Like others have said though, you need to look at your track record. When I sat down with my remaining 3 quarters I said, I will have X GPA when I graduate because I am going to get all A's, no ifs, ands, or buts. Once you get into it, it's way tougher that it seems. 26 credits is a LOT. But then again, it does matter which classes you are taking and which college as well.

I would also look into a winter mini-mester offered at community colleges! I don't know what classes you need, but if their basic classes it's nice to get them done in 2-3 weeks

26 credits in one semester? No way that's a good idea.
17 is a very full and respectable load. 26 is irresponsible. Take a manageable load that you can make a 4.0 in.

26 units a semester is not "irresponsible". Do, what you have to. I've taken 28, 27 credits a semester.

What I'm doing now in a semester of med school makes undergrad look like a joke.
