Oversea trip in the summer I apply? Possible?

Hi, I am applying to a program that might require me to travel oversea from mid-July to mid-August （I am very likely to be accepted). I am also applying to dental schools this cycle. I am thinking of submitting my application in early June and take my DAT in early July. What do you guys think? Are there anything else I need to take into account?

I did pretty much the exact same thing (minus taking the DAT, I took it 2 years ago). I got my application complete and sent out to schools by the beginning of July last summer and then I did a study abroad program from the end of July to the end of August. If any of the schools that you're applying to don't explain on their website that they give out interview invites by email, I would contact them and ask how they contact applicants for interview invites. I got a few interview invites via email while abroad, but none of them required me to call to set an interview date so that was convenient.
