I am so confused right now because I do not know what to do next semester. I have a lot of available options, so I need some help really deciding what I should do!
First off, I will be taking 18 credits. That may seem like a lot already in itself but pretty much, in my opinion, I am taking 10 credits. My 1 credit Physics Lab really isn't a lot of work because all I do is go to lab, do the lab, and fill out work sheets in the lab. No outside work and I don't have any exams. Also, I am taking an online Intro to Sociology course, which is 3 credits, and all I have to do for that is set aside a few hours every two weeks and do an assignment with my book. Lastly, I am taking a 4 credit Honors course that has me travel to a preschool in the area and participate in a Head Start Program one day a week from 8 am to noon, so that isn't too much work and it's pretty early in the day so it isn't bad. Besides those three class I am also taking Physics, Organic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry Lab, and Genetics. Those are my classes.
As for my extracurriculars, I am currently a tour guide, secretary of a club, and trying to be involved in the climbing club at my school. These are not that time consuming as the clubs meet once a week and all I have to do for being a tour guide is 8 tours over the semester, which is not that hard being that there are so many tours at many different times each week. In terms of other things that I am trying to do, I will most likely be volunteering with the local hospice, but I have the option to apply to be a scribe, volunteer at the local hospital, or try and get some shadowing.
Pretty much I have narrowed it down to either hospital volunteer + shadow, or ER Scribe. I am just unsure what to do. I do have a pretty open schedule as I will be done by 1:45 on Tuesdays/Thursday, only have 1 class Monday, no classes Friday, and a pretty busy Wednesday which is fine. I am pretty good at my time management as well, but I just would appreciate any advice on what I should really do! Thanks in advance!
