So when you check PDMP and see they've been getting oxy 15 5x per day #150 every 30 days on the day for over 6 months when do you demand the doctor start weening them?

If you feel like that's the best course of action in your professional opinion. None of us can answer that for you. For me, it depends on the case. If its a dude with terminal cancer, I fill it pretty much 100% of the time.

I'd be happy that it wasn't every 27 days.

That's usually my take on it. I have talked to a few patients directly about it. One actually worked on tapering down.

We have one being forced down from whopping doses, but they're now more lucid and agile than ever. The prescriber probably saw the liability case waiting to happen and reduced everything. The road's been rough but appears to have been worth it.
