P-value on QR

Can someone tell me what p-value is and what I should know about it for the QR section of the DAT? I keep seeing it on people breakdown's, I have taken a statistics class and all I remember is that reject null hypothesis if less than 0.05 or something like that. Can anyone elaborate further? Thanks
