Hi,
I will be a P1 in the fall and have a couple of questions about residency. First of all, I am pretty sure I have read on here that publishing looks good when you are applying for a residency. What kind of papers are these? Bench research types of papers? Or more clinically orientated papers?
Also I was wondering if it is fairly easy for people to find jobs after residency in the geographic area in which they completed their residency? Thanks in advance for any answers.
