    is there are book/website that has a list of all the P450 inducers/inhibitors that we should know for the boards.
    P.S. not one of those enormous lists that have 100+ drugs on the list :)

    i'm guessing you want more, but FA (2003) lists a few. That's likely to be all I can remember...

    Increase P450 activity - barbiturates, phenytoin, carbamazepine, rifampin, griseofulvin, quinidine

    Decrease P450 activity - cimetidine, ketoconazole, grapefruit, erythromycin, isoniazid, sulfonamides

    Big ones to remember:
    Inducers - Barbiturates, Phenytoin, Rifampin
    Inhibitors - Psych drugs and Bug Drugs

    Thats just a general schema we were taught. Comes in pretty handy when all else fails. :thumbup:
