I thought that this thread would be nice for those who are applying this year. So if you are applying this year which schools are on your list?

Baylor, UTMB, Emory, Florida, Loma Linda

I'm applying to UMDNJ - RWJ, Rosalind Franklin, Marietta College, Pace University, and St. John's University... but I'm thinking about not applying Marietta college... not sure about that one.

There is a much larger version of this thread on the PA specific forum...

I quit typing the URL because I think someone posts it on like every single PA related thread on here 😛

I'm applying to Arizona School of Health Sciences, Midwestern-Arizona, Touro-Nevada. Have you taken the GRE yet? How are people prepping for it? For how long to study for when you work full time?

I Just bought a couple of prep books from B&N. I bought the Math and Verbal workbook from Kaplan and the Arco Book, as well as the vocab flash cards. Most of the schools that I am applying to do not require the GRE. My top choice doesn't require the GRE and I am crossing my fingers to hope that I get in! As for working full time, I don't have any recommendations b/c I'm not working full time. I guess try to get as much as you can get done in your free time and on the weekends. I'm going to try and take it in August and if I have to take it again then I will in September. I've only been studying for about 2 weeks. Hope that helps! :luck:

I applied to Mercer U (was accepted) South University (got an interview but turned it down because I couldn't afford the airfare), Albany Medical College (just got my acceptance letter yesterday), Eastern Virginia Medical College and Idaho State University.
Does anyone have an opionion on which schools are "better"?? I live in Boise and was hoping for Idaho state but they don't start until August of NEXT YEAR. My next best option is Albany, which starts in January. But because Albany is a 28 month program and ISU is 24 it would only delay my graduation by 4 months to wait it out.
Any opinions here? I could really use advice from other people going through this.
Oh, and for the GRE, I think I studied a little over a month, maybe? Yes, I did work full-time but I kind of made it an obsession during that time . . . so like every night after work and full days on Sat & Sun. It paid off as far as I am concerned . . .
