Would any PA who is currently earning 75k or more please share with me how many hours a week you are working (average) and how many years you have been in practice. Thanks, L.

emergency medicine
40-45hrs/wk
significantly more $ than 75k/yr

avg pa last yr made 76k working 40/wk( most pa's in practice more than a few yrs make at least this). a few low end positions might pay a new grad 55-65k to start but after a few yrs any pa should be making at least 70k, even in primary care

I work about 50-60 hours a week (by choice...I like the extra over-time cash 😀 ) and I have been in practice for 3 years. Some of the PAs I work with choose to work fewer hours (40-45 hours) on average; also, they have all been in practice longer (10+years) and they all have families. At my job, all of us earn more than 75k. I hope that answers your question.

my cousin is a PA working for a very big GI group in Cali. He works ~50-55 hrs a week with 7 wk vaction and 1 wk of CME and pulls in a litte over 100K. He got that job 3 yrs out of school. But the 1st three years after school he worked as a Urgent care PA in Bum F**k Cali for 55K just to build up experience.
