PA State U - Letter to support degree

Hey there. OK... I got my secondary way back in July for PA State U COM Hershey and sent it back the next day. I've been under the assumption that it was complete and just found out they have been waiting for a letter from my undergrad institution "supporting my degree" before processing?!?! What? I was very confused having not realized that was necessary, the admissions folks told me it wasn't in the application instructions. For some reason I never got their e-mail which cryptically requested that.

Point of this post - check your status page if you applied to PA State!

That is the DUMBEST thing I've ever heard. As if your official (and verified by AMCAS) transcript isn't enough. 🙄

That school is so ******ed.
