I know these questions got asked frequently but I have never been to the States and I'm having a hard time deciding which interview to go to first (and which schools to attend) I have searched previous posts but would like more input please.
1) I'm Canadian, don't know where I would practice after graduation and I don't know how much I should value the prestige of schools (Is it easy for Canadian students to stay and practice in US? Do you normally end up in the states where you attended school? If so I should choose the location wisely)
2) Poor student, not too much parental support at all, rely entirely on loans. This is why I don't plan to attend all interviews although it would be a great idea.
There are many factors to consider, for me mainly it's financial, reputational/quality of education and maybe location. Which ones do you think are more important?
What would YOU do if you were in my shoes? I've never been to the states before so ANYTHING's helpful.
