PAIN in wisdom teeth area

Hi Guys! I'm a frequent user of SDN, but this is my first time on "Dental" threads. I've a pain issue. I was having TONS of pain in end of 2004 and most of 2005 due to wisdom teeth growth...finally had all 4 of them removed in September!! However, since last month, I've been experiencing pain in the same areas, not extremely bad...but it still hurts and I know this sounds really silly...but I feel like another set of teeth is growing in place! Why has the pain returned like four months later???? Do you think I should go back to the oral surgeon for a check up?? Sorry...I'm clueless on this.
