Anyone have any experience or know how the state of Nevada is for a pain practice? Reimburesement, liability, med/mal, etc. Im thinking im sick of all the hurricanes in FL.

Thanks

Also, please feel free to comment on neighboring states such as Arizona, New Mexico, etc. I heard Arizona was very similar to Florida regarding sky high malpractice.

Have you thought about heading north from FL, to rural/suburban MD/VA? More culture, RE prices about the same, no hurricanes, and much more temperate weather... (but a little snow).

Any info about pain practice in the West? California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington? Anyone know if Kaiser Permenente is looking for a pain doc, preferably in Northern California and how working for them would be like? Any info about the Sierra Nevada? Is there any opportunity there for interventional pain management? Ill be done with a highly interventional pain fellowship in 2007 and would like to move back west, hopefully affiliated with an academic institution, but this is not mandatory.

How would I go about finding more info about pain practice opportunities based on my preferred LOCATION?

Hey thanks for hijacking my thread.

Regarding MD/VA, etc, i really had enough of the cold weather while in Indiana. Thanks for the info though.
