Hey Guys, I recently received this email from MODS. I just wanted to know if this is any threat to me receiving the HPSP scholarship. As a background, I've already signed, been commissioned, and registered for AKO and MODS.

"Dear 2LT ******,

The HPSP office has not yet received the necessary paperwork needed to start your entitlements. When you applied for the scholarship you filled out some forms with your recruiter. Your recruiter forwarded those forms to his higher command. As of this date, we have not received your documents from the Recruiting Command. In almost each and every case, the reason that the Recruiting Command has not forwarded the forms is because there is something missing or incorrect on one of those forms. It is our recommendation that you contact the recruiter and have him check the 'Call Outs' in order to assure that your packet is complete. If your recruiter feels that there are no call outs, he can utilize his chain of command in order to determine when your packet will be forwarded to the HPSP office."

I received the same email. I was told it just means that your packet is missing something they need or there is an error and you need to call your recruiter to see what it is. (my name was spelled wrong on one of my documents and therefore I needed to resign the document with it corrected). My recruiter said that the only thing it could do is hold up the processing time and affect you getting your stipend on time.

Nope. That's one of the nice things about the military once you are in - the only thing that will happen is pay will be delayed - but my experience has been that you will always receive the back pay that you are due.
