Thanks

I am assuming you mean just having them in town, maybe do some sightseeing, etc? That's all good.
Bringing them to the interview site is a big no-no...c'mon, you're supposed to be 21/22 years old.

This wife of a interviewee I talked to said when her husband went on the interviews, she went to a workshop hosted by the school called "Medical School and Spouses" or something, where she learned about dealing with time management, finance, family planning, etc. etc. Which is pretty cool.

Focking crack

I said they could drive up and spend the night with me, but not go to the actual interview with me. They really are ridiculous. But I kept my stance and said no.

Grading in blue or purple because red is too "offensive"
Bringing your parents to "console" you during a med school/job interview?
WTF have we come to?

Then my mother told me that he was crying when he got back to the room. I have NEVER seen my father cry. Parents are so weird.I went to DC with my parents for my GWU interview. We made a weeklong trip of it because my mother had never been to DC and my father hadn't been in years.
The interview was on our last day their and the day before my mother informed me she was coming to the interview with me - UH NO. I told her so and she tried appealing to my father who agreed with me.
My dad did walk me to the metro station though (you know a whole block away). Then after he kissed me goodbye he stood at the turnstyle waiving as I went down the escalator. The guard at the gate even offered to let him in and out for free if he wanted to see me to the train. Which my father declined saying "she's 22 I think her mother and I need to accept that she has grown up."Then my mother told me that he was crying when he got back to the room. I have NEVER seen my father cry. Parents are so weird.
my mom was there during my interview, first class, first rounds and first day of residency, first time i kissed a girl and the first time i had sex.
In that order?
