My boyfriend is interested in doing research on Parkinson' s in the States, preferably in the New York area.

It looks as if Columbia is very strong, but I'd be interested in getting your guys' take on other institutions as well.
 
The program at UCLA is very strong. Try the Dept. of Molecular Medicine and Structural Biology.
