Hi ,

I am planning to give NDB part 1 in September end either on 29th or 1st of October. I am using Kaplan book , Dental Decks , Rudman's & Previous papers. Anyone else preparing for the exam in 2 months, who wants to join me , can post their replies here.

Planning to take my part 1 in few weeks. I am using this material(kaplan book, decks and rudman's and kaplan's online Q bank). Tell me how'z ur prepration going on? We can discuss the topics if u want to.

Hi Bajwa ,

where in usa are you ? i am in pennsalvania. only thing i have finished till now is Dental Anatomy, we can discuss that if you want. How do you find the Kaplan online question bank? is it helpful.

Someone also recommended USMLE first aid book , he told me it is very helpful , i might get that also. if i have time in the end i will buy netters too , but only thing i am doing right now is kaplan book & i dont know how much time i would have left once i am done with that.

I m in Nebraska. U can buy the Q bank for a 30 days acsess. I can discuss Dental Anatomy,if u have some Q's on this subject just put them here. I m studying biochemistry these days.

I can think of any questions myself now, I also started Biochem yesterday & am done with only 2 chapters. Hope to finish it by Tuesday.

I think that's a pretty good score. I have 'nt started solving the papers yet, i will do it tomorrow and then i can tell u. do u have a personal email id?

I took part 1 in july and just thought I'd let you know that First aid usmle is a good guide for the important points in part 1 subjects.I did read this book..although I could glance through it, only once.....but a few answers from the exam could be found in this handbook.I'm not sure if this post helps you....just wanna say first aid usmle is not a bad investment....but don't look through in the last minute!

I was not able to do the DA exam, may be i will do it tomorrow. How'z ur bio chem going on? I m doing metabolism of carbo, lipids and AA. Tell me on what topics u are stressing more.

i started the thread & got lazy. now am back on track. i have also postponed my exam date till arnd 20th october. i joined the q bank , has anyone else joined it. i am fed up of the kaplan book because it takes too much of my time.

even i am using kaplans and decks and asda reprints and first aid usmle and some reviews which i got from friends who are in school.which are of good help.and even i am using for dadh ;khaleed chaudhry.
