A group of 4 students (myself included) took the NBDEs on Aug 21st at the same testing center as the majority of our class. We haven’t received our scores yet (I know, I know … 3-4 weeks) The strange thing is that students in my class that took the exam the day after me (same testing center) and even classmates taking it as late as Aug 26th got their scores this past Tuesday…
I got scared and called the ADA thinking there was a problem, but they just said that the scores weren’t processed yet. Another one of my classmates called Prometric (he was scared too) and they said they sent the data on time, so the hold up is at the ADA…Anyone else experience this? Any thoughts?

I figure they are trying to figure out "the curve" for our specific exam ...

I also took it August 21st...still no scores. I only know 1 person who took it the 21st who DID receive their scores. No one else from my testing center that day got their scores yet. I JUST called ADA and they said there was a delay in downloading from Prometric or something. They said they will be sent the middle of next week probably.
People from the 29th already got it and I'm still waiting. The waiting is so awful :scared:

Wow, I just heard the same thing: Problem downloading the information ... They're still not processed and they told me to expect them early next week. That will make it a full four weeks, ouch ...

The same thing happened to me. I took part 1 on July 27th, along with several classmates, and some people received their scores in under a week. I had to wait about two. And yes, I did call the ADA and force an answer out of them as to when it would be mailed (but they didn't know the reason for the delay).

So I finally got the scores today ... So it actually only took 3 and a half weeks.
I know some people are interested in the stats for the exam so here are the national averages they report for each section:
National Means:
Anatomic Science – 66.2/100
Biochem/Phys – 64.2/100
Micro/Path – 64.9/100
Dent Anat +Occ – 74.6/100

Most interesting thing I saw about the stats was on the back of my score report. Here is the breakdown they give.
(Nat. Board Score) – People in that range
(99) – 0.7%
(96-98) – 2.2%
(93-95) – 5.9%
(90-92) – 12.1%
(87-89) – 18.5%
(84-86) – 21.2%
(81-83) – 18.5%
(78-80) – 12.1%
(75-77) – 5.9%
(Failing) - 2.9%

My score was just about 5% lower than the '96 curve just like everyone else has been saying. Good luck to everyone still studying …

Hmm.. so, 97.1% of of people PASS!

I don't know why so many people get so worried in these forums, unless everyone wants to specialize. 🙄

The data alone shows discrepancy between the national mean and what the average scoring is. IF 21.2 % people are in the 84-86% percent range then apparently they fall into the national mean which is in the mid 60s....what is ADA doing!?

I think someone already sad here: it's as hard NOT to pass it as to get > 90%.
