A lot of people are getting their results back who took the exam in December; so I thought I would start a single thread to list them all.

I'll go first:

Anatomy - 94
Biochem/Phys - 97
Micro/Path - 96
Dental Anatomy - 99

Average - 97

I'm very happy with these results. When I took the test, I though it was pretty hard, and was surprised to see such a high score. I was especially surprised by my DA score b/c that was my worst section on released exams.

Study materials:
Dental Decks '07 - 1 time
First Aid for the NBDE Part 1 (read some parts, skimmed others)
Netter's Atlas of Human Anatomy
DiFiore's Atlas of Histology
Wheeler's Dental Anatomy
Clinical Microbiology Made Ridiculously Simple (very excellent book)
Class notes for Histology, Embryology, & Occlusion
eMedicine.com (for several pathologies I saw on released exams and in decks)
Released exams (89, 98, half of 04 pilot exam, and 06 sample questions)

you did very well...congrats. I like how you posted what you used etc...thanks. So you're a second year who took them in dec? How much time did they give you to prepare? At NYU...we are going to take this upcoming summer....oh man!

I had several PM's asking for more information about my study strategy and for my class notes for Histo, Embryo, and Occlusion.

Unfortunately the notes are all on copyrighted syllabi or handouts so I cannot provide them.

At my school we do have to take the test at the end of our second Fall semester; so I studied during the semester by slowly going through the decks each day for about 1 hour per day (7 days a week). I studied each card in detail and looked up topics that I felt the cards did not go into enough detail on.

After I went through the decks I spent four weeks reviewing each subject starting with the hardest and taking some practice tests. I probably spent a total of 100 hours studying during the last four weeks.
