Took my exam on Dec. 10, got my results yesterday:

Anatomic Sciences 66
Biochem/Physiology 79
Micro/Path 75
DA/Occlusion 83

Composite 87

Studied for 2 weeks, about 8 hours a day Monday-Friday, focused on Decks and Released Exams, a little bit of Kaplan Q-bank. Can't complain about the score, especially since we have a brand-new baby and a 2-year-old in the house.

👍 Congrats!!!!!!
That's awesome!!!!......and a good motivation for me.....just few days for my test.....
all the best and enjoy your kids now!! :hardy:

thats a bit rude isnt it

It's not rude at all. If you choose to be offended, so be it. I was simply answering the question, and then following it up with a tidbit of information that may assist in improving communication between users of this forum. All of us are in different situations, and we should never simply assume that we are all at the same point in our career processes. I did not intend for my comment to be rude - simply concise............and to the point. And yes, Utah basically is a foreign country, but luckily Case accepted me as a U.S. citizen.😀

Guys cool down. When ur in dental school its easy to give boards cuz ur studying that stuff. so not a big deal that u scored 87.

It's only rude if you preconceive it to be. Not everything is racially construed.

Wow.. congratulation man... Great scores. I want those scores for my part 2 in 2 weeks..... 😀😀

Thanks for sharing your results. I've been studying for about 2 weeks as well with the same material that you've studied with and I'm taking mine later this week so your post gives me hopes.

Happy holidays everyone!

I never said it was a big deal that I scored 87. Simply sharing my experience on Part I like so many others. And if you want to talk easy, how about being able to become a "dentist" after a couple years of school like in some countries I'm aware of. Get off your high horse, and shut the hell up. Did that top your rudeness, Lidopaine?

WAT r u talkin abt?! it is not easy to give the boards period! its harder to give it in dental school coz u have 100 other things gng on...vs being DONE with dental school and having months to prepare.

yes, you're getting the hang of it! lol. I took the board the day after you and i haven't gotten anything yet. oh well maybe tmw. oh and congrats on the 87. it's even more impressive since you only studied 2 weeks, slacker😀. did you take your b-day off, or did you study then too? i studied 3 weeks, about 5-6 hours a day. hopefully i got a decent score too.

Hi, for those who studied old tests, did you even see any repeats? I heard there really aren't many ....?

They say that when they release a question, it is taken out of the question bank. But i saw a lot of questions i recognized from all the old tests i did. So either they were the same questions or they were just really similar. I think that anyone that doesn't review old tests is missing out.

thats a bit rude isnt it

Rude ??? Utah did not share his score on the “International Dental” forum. He shared it on “NBDE Exams ….”. If anything, Tina made a rooky mistake by assuming that “UTAHDENTIST2BE” is an FTD and utah properly corrected her.

This may be a really stupid question but I thought your composite score was an average of all of your scores...not true? BTW, I already took Part I and that's what I remember, just a little confused.

Hi utah congrats on your succsess well done, could you please tell me about this composite score how to calculate that.

Hey Im trying to gather all the important material for the part I boards and was curious if anyone used MICRO, CLINICAL ANATOMY made rediculously simple.

Dental Decks, how many times did you go through them?
Kaplan book, useful? as just a source or should I read it?
First aid NBDE part I, so far I have seen mistakes but any good?

Sorry for the bombardment of questions and thanks to anyone who replies
