Pass/Fail in a STEM non-major requirement?

This semester, I took an upper level Neuroscience class. Since I am a Chem major, this doesn't count towards my major requirements, so I am able to P/F it. I'm thinking of getting a P/F for this class, since I'm not doing so well on it. Will this affect my application later on? I'm a junior, and have a mid 3.8x GPA. I've maintained a 4.0 each semester after my first semester.
