I just thought it would be useful to assemble a list of schools that have a pass/fail system for at least the first year. Please add to the list.

    Wash U in St. Louis
    Yale (I think)

this is kinda pointless because almost every school is pass.fail in its first year at least.

adding harvard, columbia (it will start next year), sinai, nyu, stanford:

    Case Western
    Columbia
    Harvard
    Mount Sinai
    Northwestern
    NYU
    Stanford
    UCSF
    UPenn
    Wash U in St. Louis
    Yale (definitely)

Although there was some controversy about this before, I just got official word from the school itself (signed by the dean and everything) that Jefferson is going Pass/Fail next year. Yea!

It would probably make more sense to list the schools that have grades or pseudo-grades since they are much fewer, IMO. But if this is the way it's got to be, I'll toss in U$C.

    Case Western
    Columbia
    Connecticut (UConn)
    Harvard
    Jefferson
    Mount Sinai
    Northwestern
    NYU
    Stanford
    UCSF
    UPenn
    USC
    Wash U in St. Louis
