Pass/No Pass during Undergrad?

Does it look bad if undergrads opt for a pass/no pass grade in some of their arts/humanities classes? Given that they do very well in their science/pre med courses.

Members don't see this ad.
 
I wouldn't do it unless you're in danger of failing of course. Even though the courses aren't related to medicine directly, remember that the overall "rigor" of your education is considered at most schools; this includes courses that aren't in the sciences as well. I think some people might see taking P/F courses as an "easy way out" even though the courses may not be relevant to pursuing medicine.
 
If it's only a handful I don't think anyone will care. Definitely not something to make a habit of or do multiple times a semester, though.
