So U.S. passports only have two name sections: surname and given names.
However, AAMC MCAT registration has three sections: Given name, middle, surname.

On AAMC I wrote:
Given name: A
Middle Name: B
Surname: C

Because of the lack of middle name section, my passport reads:
Given name: A B
Surname: C

Is this going to matter? Someone was telling me that sometimes the AAMC middle name section doesn't even show up on Prometric's list so I should change AAMC to given name "A B". If I did that I'm guessing I have to add that alias to my AMCAS, right?

Going to answer my own question in case anyone has this issue too.

Called my Prometric Center and the person there said it would be okay as is. Except she kept saying the wrong thing while she was talking (e.g. extra fields in last name instead of first name type stuff) so that answer wasn't too reliable.

AAMC MCAT rep said to put both first and middle in given name field on the registration field.

I'm going to do that because I realized that the TSA people don't care that it's my first or middle name and there's no need to have to argue that point on test day and add to anxiety. All they want to see is that it matches exactly.

Added this "alternate" name to AMCAS also (doesn't affect place in line for verification).

Having a thread where I write back and forth to myself, fun  maybe it will help someone else...
