I have taken the DAT once and will be retaking in October. I was told to raise my PAT to get into my school of choice because it was not high enough. This was my fault as the first time around I just figured PAT was a natural thing and you couldn't really practice all that much (believe me I realize this couldn't be any farther from the truth as I have to retake 🙁) My previous scores were as follows
Bio 18
GC 19
OC 22
QR 16
RC 17
TS 19
AA 19
PAT 15 🙁
I plan on getting CDP and TS before I take my exam and obviously I will be emphasizing my studies to raise my PAT (well I guess I'm trying to raise all of them🙂). After practicing a little bit with the sections I took the practice test in Kaplan BB and got the estimated score of 20. Is this easier or harder than the DAT PAT section? (I know I have taken it but I do not remember that well.)
I would like for those of you who are gifted in the PAT to please post some tips here if you have found some consistent and successful way to complete any portion of the PAT. I really struggle with the pattern folding so I was wondering if someone could post some tricks for that. Do you fold into the paper? Out towards you? I'm just curious as to what tactics work for some of you PAT pounders. I read a tutorial by Sama which was awesome so Sama if you read this I would be more than willing to send you baked goods in return for some PAT blasting tips. Thanks guys, this forum is a lot of help.
