from what I ve been reading on here CDP is not so representative of the real test anymore..so it might be a good idea to invest in achiever or qvault or bootcamp..

I don't really understand the recent hate for CDP. All I used was CDP and I got a 25 on PAT, to me it was representative. You can also take the knowledge and practice you get from CDP and apply it to more difficult problems that come up on the actual test without that much difference. Just my two cents. Do the 10 tests, you should see improvement. Develop your 3 dimensional assessment of objects for keyhole and TFE especially, some on pattern folding. I wouldn't recommend line counting as it doesn't always work and it takes away from your perceptual improvement.

Use DATBootcamp.

I actually JUST looked at the free test and WOW, MUCH more representative of the real exam.
CDP gave me a false sense of security when I did the exams.

Bootcamp will prepare you well!

IMO, only. =)

from reading all the posts it seems to me that some PATs on the real thing are easier (i.e. like CDP) than other tests (i.e. achiever..bootcamp). I am just really hoping to get the easier version :scared:

Thanks so much for all the advice everyone!!!

I think ill try my best to just focus a few hours everyday till the test day on bootcamp, achiever and CDP and hopefully that will do the trick!!

That should be good!

Just keep in mind that CDP has been used to great results based on the breakdowns maybe a month ago, I noticed the recent ones saying CDP was too easy, but I have been seeing my score increase in the 5 tests I've done on CDP. Focus on getting Cube counting 100%, use hill method on angles, use LOS on hole punching, and for pattern folding(look for that forum post "my wicked pat tutorial"

Scores so far on CDP. 17/20/19/20/22
