I do not know if you mean NBDE lecture notes or USMLE lecture notes, any ways for me I studied USMLE lecture notes for general pathology and the dental decks and first aid for systems pathology. I do not think that there are many questions about GIT pathology.

Do read keplan lecture notes. It's the best book for part 1. Use decks for revision and once u do past papers u come back and read lecture notes and try finding answers to those questions. That book is the best. And from my experience and from the people I spoke with I can honestly say that 99% of questions come from the book. It is more then enough. Best of luck

There will be no wrong opinion about any book, just do whatever you feel comfortable and confident. Just do not overwhelm your self, that is my opinion. Good luck.

Decks looks more organized but when you sit in the exam you will realize that it's not much of a help. Kaplan review book is really important.

thanks everyone for replying 🙂

so i am taking all of yours advise and going through kaplan..

any suggestion how to make this patho interesting? 😉

Patho interesting? You've got be really creative there. Alternating always worked for me, whenever I got bored, I'd move to something else then I'd come back.
BTW I thought Patho was one of the most interesting to study, Biochemestry was the biggest pain ever...
