Hello. I'm not sure if I should post this here or in the Pathology thread. I've searched around here but couldn't find what I was looking for. As I've said in "Gross Anatomy detail," I was interested in becoming a pathologists' assistant (PA), but now I'm not so sure. Could a PA please give me a detailed description of their day-to-day work? I would just like some more info so I can be 100% sure in my decision on whether to choose PA or MLT, as I'm interested in both. So, do you perform gross examination (and perhaps some microscopic) of tissue specimens? Do you actually help or perform autopsies?
