I know the Robin's Pathology Review Book is good but it might be too difficult for me at this point.

So, I am trying to decide between the following books.

Pathology: Review for USMLE, Step 1, ed. 2 by Louis MD DePalma (Paperback - May 13, 2007)

or

Appleton & lange's review of pathology, 2002

Which one should I get?
Any other book suggestion?

I took a look of those RR path questions. They are pretty good but StudentConsult doesn't organize them by organ systems.

Get Rapid Review, don't waste your time with anything else.

I already have that book but I want some questions to reinforce my learning. I think I am going to use webpath + BRS as a question source.

If you want questions Webpath and Robbins Review Question Book are the best. Don't bother with BRS path.

Dragonwell,

Thanks for the recommendation. That book looks great! 👍

Has everyone abandoned BRS Path? I actually really liked it, and it served me well! Oh well - make way for the new king?

Don't waste your time with the A&L path. I have it. Use BRS Path if you are not ready to tackle Robbins or WebPath. BRS Path has end of chapter questions, at least the version I have.

Sooner or later you are going to have to suck it up.
