I just wanted to get everyone's opinion on what book I should get. My school uses The Robbins pathology text but I've been hearing that the "mini-Robbins" is a better book. Then today someone told me that Goljan's text is better...

Any input would be much appreciated.

If your school uses big Robbins, I would definitely use that. It's well-written and has lots of diagrams and pictures.

y not get big robbins for reference..and goljan for board review..and also do the questions in the little robbins they are supposedly really good

The big Robbins path book, with its pictures, is a great way to learn the subject but is far too detail to be an effective board review book. I'd go with Gojan's text for that.

The question book is Robbins Review of Path- fantastic resource (along with Webpath). There is a smaller Robbins than the enormous tome.

do goljan RR + robbins review of pathology (question book) which is PLENTY of path prep for step 1.
