I liked BRS Pathology and Goljan's Rapid Review in Pathology. Be sure to get his lectures for Step 1 and I think they would help during the class too.

Got any good reccomendations?
I'm pretty sure that there aren't any. The renal book by Rose and Renke is a must-read, but other than that, the required books at our school are a waste. I stuck with the class notes, powerpoints, and syllabi.

The Lilly Cardiology book is very, very good. Almost made me want to be a cardiologist.

Goljan Pathology (STARS) (ISBN: 0721670237) is probably the best pathology book as far as integrating path as pathophysiology(just like his lectures). Its out of print and very hard to find though.
