I've been in EM and CCM for 10 years and I still have yet to encounter anyone who annoys me more as a medical professional than my grandmother.

It doesn't help matters that the MD she sees has been sued more times than I have fingers and was the certifying physician on about half the death certificates for the funeral home I worked for.
And even when I did manage to get her to see another doc, and he wrote her a script for antibiotics, she refused to fill it because it was "too expensive....."
