Has anyone used those automatic scooping kitty litter pans? How'd your cat react? Does the litter clump enough to be scooped out? Or, does it just clog the scooper thingy? I'm just so tired of scooping out the litter post-call, and I'm certain the cats are tired of me just going straight to bed!

UNC (under Dean Smith) and Duke have consistently made students first and athletes second - as much of a joke as that is (Lou Holtz, anyone? Speaking of the golden dome, Holtz leaves a trail of probation, lost scholarships, and bunches of failures that weren't good enough for the pros, but have no marketable skills, as their educations - weren't), it really works at these places. Dean Smith graduated 96% (including Michael Jordan returning to complete his degree in geography to fulfill a promise he made to Smith), and Mike Krzyzewski likewise makes his players actually be literate.

Incidentally, Dean Smith said, "UNC is a women's soccer school." Now that's class.

of course i have no one to blame but myself.....chose to go skiing instead of cleaning house.....an excellent choice if i must say so....

My cats love it. And I do too! The key is to get good litter (not the cheap stuff). I think I use scoop away...anyway, I can go 4 days without dumping the container and that's with 2 cats that are always indoors. Definitely works out well for the 3 of us. They are picky and my boy is a mama'a boy but he loves to run and watch when it scoops (5 mins after sensor is triggered by the cat). Good luck,

My opinion on it is that same as for the 300...ugly and boxy as hell. I just don't get what people see in this car. My mom drives one and I still don't like it. It is well engineered but has no soul.

Sorry to be a downer, but mine worked for about a year. The time spent trying to rake huge clods of cat pee (my boys are pee-ers) (and sometimes failing, as it would collide with the pee-clod, jam, start over, collide with the pee-clod) just kind of wore that motor down and it plain quit working. 👎

It was pretty cool while it lasted, and my boys liked the continually fresh litter (and would run to "christen" it every time they heard the motor run!), but all in all not a good use of ~$100.
 
Ever have one of those days where it hits you like a ton of bricks that the person you thought you would spend your life with is gone?

It's been 5 months (to the day, almost!) and today is one of those days.

I had one that worked pretty well. My one cat absolutely LOVED it. However, I made the mistake of plugging it in right away and my other cat freaked and refused to use it (the motor rake thing apparently scared her).

Probably won't be very good. Some of us (ahem! SOCUTE) slacked today due to extreme emotional distress. Thinking about taking down that whiny post from earlier. Obviously feeling better now!
