And I crossed that line in this thread long ago.... :meanie:

Bal 292...

I would almost bet there were several med students at that level at some point this week. I know 2 of the med schools had exams this week, either first exams or midterms, so most were out drinking it up. Esp last night...everyone got started way too early.

:barf: ...I wonder how many were doing this last night....

I got up at 10 am yesterday, went to bed at 7:30 am this morning and was back up at 1pm.

What gets me is when I commonly go to sleep somewhere between 2 and 3 am and have to get up at 7am. I wish I were less of a night person at this point. I find naps very refreshing now.

naps are good.

sooooooooo good.

even better if you are sick... 🙁

Boo for rain. Yay for my first day off from studying since school started!

+pad+

With my father in law in the hiz-ouse, I have to have a sedate evening. Booring! But hey, I'm getting help ripping my bathroom apart and putting it back together.

So that's good.

But carpenter ants are bad.

Which we have.

Yargh.

I had a sedate evening as well, secondary to horrendous rain and a transformer that blew - blocking the driveway from my complex.

I was telling this to one of my friends, and he asked me, "Well, then how the hell do you have power?" I thought, "Good question" so I went back out the guardhouse to ask if it REALLY was a transformer. According to the electric company (golddigging, overcharging w***** that they are) it actually was a transformer that blew. They seemed busy, so I didn't ask them to elaborate on how we still had electricity.

Up 🙂 I'm putting a sock in my post pad to make me feel like a bigger man.

Are we channeling the Red Hot Chili Peppers now Todd?

It is not raining this morning. It has pretty much been raining constantly for like a month and a half. Record rain last month. Yay🙄

The only people I see at school studying today are gunners.

I'm at school studying today.

I think this makes me a gunner 🙁.

You can think of it as it makes you a procrastinator. I am studying also today, but that's because I slacked off all week knowing we had a 3 day weekend. 😎

Yeah, but I studied this week. Took thursday afternoon off after our little "PBL" session and took all of yesterday off (it was GLORIOUS) but yesterday was the first full day I've given myself since we started.

It's all good, though, because as much as I complain about Robbins (insert obligatory complaint here) it's pretty interesting stuff and it won't ALL be irrelevant when I start on the wards next year.

Well, it started raining again anyway. We had more rain last month than many major cities have had in the last year. Ah thunder outside again.

*grits teeth* Remind me why I will be glad to get back to DC?

That's right! Because it will mean my family will be 12 hours away by car.
