Funny thing you brought that up. I just found out recently that my older sister always thought we were competing with each other when we were younger. I guess I was oblivious to it.

Half the time, I will pick the incorrect view just to see how long I can go and how convincing I can be. Eventually I break and start laughing, especially if the other person starts to see things in my point of view.

haha...that's why I only do it with things that don't matter. Don't want the person to screw up if it is relevant. My argument could be whether something is navy blue versus midnight blue (an example of the irrelevance, but usually involves more than that).
