pay rates for GRAD INTERNS only

Okay, I have already graduated from pharmacy school and I received an interview from walgreens for the "GRAD INTERN" position in Florida.

Does anyone know, what are the pay rates for GRAD INTERN, how long can you stay a grad intern before you pass your naplex, or when do you get fired if you dont pass etc.

Publix = 32$/hour as grad intern

You can keep this pay rate until you pass tests. Usually it takes 2-4 months for students to study, signup, and pass.

It depends on the district you are applying to. It means your pay until you get licensed. Then it will go up. WALGREENS gave me until September with the Grad rate then I will get the pharmacist rate.

Yea, depends on the district. South Florida area is $27.25/hr....starting RPh is $54.50

I don't know why it really matters, you'll get the big bucks when you do. Just a very temporary situation.

It'll probably be in that $27.25/hr range, give or take a few bucks...although unlikely it'll be lower than that.

Give or take a %, My friend was just offered $62.50/ hr at the same place, so yeah about 75%

It is retail...not sure you ever "like" working there. However, compared to being a tech at Walgreens it is like night and day.

They provide "enough" tech hours, bathrooms in most pharmacies, dont have to ring up a lot of extra bull****, and corporate seems to treat us rather well. It certainly could be worse and like I said the pay is quite good, apparently.

Walgreens pays 119k to work in West Texas? FFS, some of the grocery stores here in DFW offer 122-125k.

My hospital paid full pharmacist wage, $58/hr as grad intern but doubtful we will be hiring any new grads any time soon with all the residency trained pharmacists available.

It's in an area that WAG is having trouble staffing...so that might play a role in the pay scale?
