Lucky me I have the same bio lab professor two semester in a row. This guy was a total dick. He didn't believe that I was sick when I emailed him (in his defense I was sick last semester too) and told me I had to get a note even though the student health center was closed. So, for the test I sat at the same table as him. (Our lab has 12 group tables.)
I have chicken pox.
It didn't really effect my test taking ability since the worst was over but the sores were still there but it made it so much more enjoyable.
My entire class probably thinks Im a freak now but it was definately worth *hopefully* giving that bastard chicken pox. (I heard chicken pox is extra fun for older adults)

Im a bad person for enjoying this but he deserves it. I wouldn't want to sit next to a young college student and get him/her sick undeservingly

hate to break it to you but he probably already had it as a child...or was required to get a shot.
Although I think you can get a shingles outbreak (same virus) and that I heard is def not fun but I don't think you can induce it by sitting next to the guy : \

Yeah, same virus that causes chicken pox causes shingles.

And shingles can be life-threatening. Of course that's rare though.

My twin sister (now 21) also never had it.

We all shared one room at the time.

My parents (now both in their 50s) also never had it.

No one else got it in my family....only me. And none of them got sick because of me either.

when I got the chicken pox...my brother promptly got it too and I had to stay home from day care...so I was itchy and lonely (my brother doesn't count because little brothers are a pain 😛)
