So now that the excitement of getting into pharmacy school has passed, I'm stressing over how I'm going to pay for it. I know there are loans but does anyone (especially from South University) know when financial aid will be dispersed to students? I have to pay for an apartment and would like to know of any options regarding money for this expense. Thank you🙂

I never had any problems getting money. I had to turn away money they kept wanting to throw at me.

Choose your loans wisely. You might also explore options with the military, but not unless you're excited about the armed forces! 🙂

We got our money about a week before class started. Check out your school's cost of attending, that is what you will get. If you need more youll have to privately borrow, try not to do that.

Financial aid came during the first week of school (a few days preceeding perhaps). Any loans that you take, in excess of tuition and fees, will be sent to you via check (or direct deposit if you have it setup). You can do whatever you want with these funds.

I know several people received "floater loans" from my school to pay for rent prior to the semester starting. The amount of the loan was subtracted from your financial aid check when it finally arrives. Contact your school's business office to see if they have a program that is similar.
