HELLO GUYS

I am so nervous due to delays to register for my PCAT.

While I was trying to register a page popped up and it say "
Select all the schools to which Official Transcripts should be sent. Be mindful of the deadlines for receipt of your Official Transcripts.

You may select up to 14 schools to receive an Official Transcript. The first three (3) are included in the $210.00 registration fee, if you make those selections now. Selecting PharmCAS (code 104) or any number of PharmCAS participating schools counts as only one selection. However, you will be charged $20.00 for each non-PharmCAS school selected beyond the three (3) that are included.

To make your selections:

1. On the left side, check the box for each desired school.

2. Then click "Add Selected Schools".

Your score recipient selections cannot be changed or deleted after this registration is complete. If you wish to add additional score recipients later, you MUST make those selections now."

1) What schools are under pharmCas and how would I know?

I found this from a pharmcas website.

http://www.pharmcas.org/school-directory/#/pharmd/general-information All the pharmacy schools are listed here?

2) Pharmcas already has received my transcripts
Do I pay for each school that i wanted the scores to be sent?

3)If I click pharmCas (104), do I still need to add all the schools that uses or accepts pharCas?

4)If I need to add all the schools that uses pharmCas and the ones that don't
do i have to pay 20 dollars for each school separately?

please help the confuse pre-pharmacy student...

1. All schools that you're applying to should have an information page on whether or not they accept PharmCAS (take the time to find this out). You definitely NEED to send one set of scores to PharmCAS since almost all schools exclusively accept that.
2. I'm a little bit confused by your question here. If PharmCAS has your transcripts you're fine in that area.
3. NO. Select additional schools that don't accept PharmCAS that you're applying to.
4. No. Add schools that don't accept PharmCAS AND add PharmCAS. That's all you need to do.

Okay thank you so much
Felt somewhat relived
I'm actually applying to a lot of schools and this will take a lot of time by going through each school and finding out.

One last question
I just went through one of the school and they said "
Pharmacy College Admissions Test (PCAT)
Arrange for scores from the Pharmacy College Admissions Test to be sent directly to PharmCAS using PCAT code 104. This exam is offered by Harcourt Assessment (www.pcatweb.info). The School of Pharmacy will only accept test scores received directly from PharmCAS. (See Admission Requirements for more details). PCAT scores sent directly to the Office of Admissions will not be accepted. Only test scores earned within two years of the planned matriculation year will be accepted."""
Does this means they are using PharmCas? Just to be sured.

Thnx again

Yes, and they are exclusively accepting scores from PharmCAS.

Ok thanx a lot
Really appreciated your answer and I finally registered. All the schools were using pharmCas.
