take the PCAT anyways even if its not required by your school. a high PCAT score will balance out a low GPA and give u an upper edge against others in your pool

If the schools don't require the PCAT, they most likely will not look at your score.

OP: Take the PCAT regardless, in case you don't get into the schools that don't require the PCAT.

Can anyone verify that Rutgers doesnt require the PCAT?

I think they're a 0-6 program (or maybe a 2-4). 0-6 programs generally don't require the PCAT because they admit students out of high school. Many 2-4 programs don't either (although I believe many are moving to require it).

Wouldn't a trip to their website or a call to their office of admissions do this? It's like the search function, but IRL.

Really, though. All basic info like this pertaining to each school is without a doubt on their website.

True, many CA schools don't require the PCAT, but some do. What I have noticed, though, is a majority (not all) of the CA schools that DON'T require the PCAT, DO require a degree, where as others don't require a degree, it is just *strongly* preferred.

That was a bit confusing, but again, all this info on each school's minimum requirements will be on their website.
