I know the board is probably flooded with the "What are my chances??" questions, but I've yet to find a fellow student (in person) who has been accepted into a pharmacy school and is able to give me some sound advice. So here it goes:
My GPA is pretty good; a 3.95 overall:
4.0 in Econ, MicroBio, Bio 1, Bio 2, GenChem 1, GenChem 2, Orgo 1, Orgo 2, Calc 1, History and a 3.5 in Psych, Music
Now here's the kicker: My freshman year, there was a situation where I attempted to drop my Stats class, but the Prof. did not sign off on it.....so, the first time around, I got a 0.0. Yes, that's correct; a zero, nothing, nada. The second time I took it, I earned a 4.0.
I am applying to Ferris State, which I know has a penalty for repeating classes, especially those with a previous grade of below 2.0.
However, I was the recipient of the Freshman Chemistry, Sophomore Chemistry, and Sophomore Biology Awards, which were presented by the school from which I transferred. (Maybe it might give me an edge? No idea.....crossing my fingers:
)
I am taking the PCAT for the first time in October, so I do not now how I will fare with that.
Drum roll for the most quoted question..........
"So, what are my chances??"
And just for good measure: Am I really going to have to kick a** on the PCAT to get in?
