I am struggling in Physical Chemistry right now. I have breezed through chemistry up until now and had the sort of relationship with chemistry where anything I saw just made sense, and anything that was the least bit confusing only took a second time through to understand. Quantum Mechanics, which is what we are covering in PChem right now, is really kicking me. Any tips on how to improve my understanding in this area?

welcome to the club. I'm in pchem II and it's kicking my ass. I have no motivation, being a senior. Just thought i'd let ya know you're not alone.

I wish I could help you, but I found PChem fun (and I got an A!!). I think what helped me was I had TONS of math under my belt and I had physics down cold. I dunno - I hear folks either love it and it makes sense, or they hate it and struggle. Wish I had more for you... go see the prof, talk to students from last year, do all the problems and then some. Don't overanalyze stuff. Use the KISS principle (Keep It Simple, Stupid).

Good luck.

My heart also goes out to you...my first exam was 3 hours, but it will be over soon 🙄
