PCO Curriculum

To all those that attend PCO,
Do the first year students work on human cadavers? Do they physically dissect/prossect it for Gross Anatomy?

I feel I was misinformed about this, but I want to get a positive and concrete answer..

In all seriousness...if you like that kind of thing...you can always make friends with one of the PA's...they dissect cadavers

Otherwise...you're set because we learn anatomy primarly off power point slides and the netter's atlas of human anatomy...its much less messy and smells a lot better too (at least I hope it would)

I know this is a thread about PCO, but do all the schools use netter (specifically SCCO & SUNY)? I already have it from last semester, so I just won't sell it back if that's the case...

Netter's a good book. I'd keep it even if those schools don't use it. It's an excellent reference book to have on hand.

I don't think S.U.N.Y. uses cadavers, either.

SUNY does. No dissection however.
