I have an interview at PCO two weeks later.
Does anyone know if there are still seats left?

My interview is not too late right? I can still get in if I do well on interview?

Also, there has been postings saying that PCO invited everyone for an interview...... So does that mean I shouldn't get my hopes up just because I got an interview, right?Does that mean PCO doesn't give out interviews to selected individuals but rather to everyone?

One more question, after the interview, should I fly out the same day?

Im actually considering to stay for one more night after the interview to tour downtown main area and also look around for apartments. Do you think its worth it? I live far from pensylvania and the flight is expensive so I won't be able to come back to PCO until class starts in September.

ALWAYS fly in the day before!! Planes get delayed and they won't give you any accommodations if you are late. I suggest to fly in day before and leave day after. Check out the area...it's worth it!

I flew in a day before around 9 am so I had a full day (before interview day) to check out the city and such. Apartments and areas near and around Philadelphia are "spotty" in two blocks may be a good area, and then 3 blocks over is a bad area, so I would recommend researching areas and apartments before you fly in. Though Elkins Park itself is a nice suburb.

As far as seats, yes there are seats left. And no, they do not interview everyone. I know tons of people who were told by PCO that they needed to shadow more or retake the OAT in order to be considered for an interview. With that being said, at most schools >40-50% of seats (exception of Berkeley which interviews all on one day two weeks from now) have been offered so statistically you have a lower chance than if you had interviewed earlier on. I wouldn't worry about this. Just be yourself, practice for the interview, research about PCO and why you want to go there (this becomes an even more important question in later interviews), and keep in mind that it's a closed file interview so don't forget to mention your accomplishments and experience. If you can show that you are passionate then even if there isn't a spot left, they will make one for you.

Good luck!
