Hello. I have an interview at Pennsylvania College of Optometry on October 5th, and I was wondering if there was anyone who also has an upcoming interview there who could tell me about which hotel to stay at, and which modes of transporatation they will use? I am having such a hard time with figuring out how to get from the airport to the hotel as well as from the hotel to the university. Any help or advice is grreatly appreciated. Feel free to send me a private message as well. Thank you!

I have an interview scheduled for a different school this upcoming week ( !!! 😱 !!! ) and I'm kind of in the same spot as you. I asked my boss what to do and he said that since I'm not 25 I can't rent a car, so I have to do all of my traveling by taxi 👎

I flew in kind of late the night before so I just decided to stay at an airport hotel that had a shuttle service from the airport. The next day, I took the shuttle back to the airport and hopped on their metro public transportation (the septa). it was really cheap and not that hard to use if you just map out where you need to go ahead of time. I believe the stop you get off on is near the temple university stop.

PM me if you have any more questions. I'll try my best to remember!

Take the SEPTA if you don't have a car. The closest stop is Jenkintown I believe and it's a 10 min walk. As for Hotel, there isn't many around PCO area. I suggest you not stay anywhere south of the school. On the PCO website they do list hotels. You can check those out.

Hey, i just have a quick question. When did u submit your application and when did u receive an interview invitation? They said they received my app 8/31/2012 so i'm a little worried that i'm not hearing back from them :/

You do not need to be 25 to rent a car, only need to have a credit card.
