How long did it take you guys for PCOM to cash your deposit check? I called to confirm it was there (twice) but they have yet to cash it.

They took about 20 days to cash mine, I was a little concerned about it too, eventually they cashed it though

Oh shoot I have a while to wait then. They recieved my check last week..I keep checking my bank account everyday. 😴

Nah.

Despite the fact that money can be tranferred instantaneously now(electronically) there are still some hoops to jump through and paperwork to fill out.

Since I havn't been able to catch you online, congrats on getting accepted dude.

Whoa. I would call them again...maybe they recieved your check..but it was lost somewhere between the admissions office and the bank? Who knows. My check was mailed from Virginia 1/4 then cashed 1/20. Have you recieved any paperwork from PCOM since then? An admissions binder and a confirmation letter will be sent.

Nope, I have received nothing. I tried to get them to tell me what was up, but all I could get is, "We have your check and it should be any day" (that was a week ago.)

OHH you are applying to the GA campus. I'm talking about the PA campus. I've recieved my PCOM email addy and packet already. I got the packet Thursday (I think)

If they gave you verbal confirmation everything should be fine. I guess things move a bit slower in GA.

Well, I finally discovered what happened. I forgot to sign the check. 😳 They said it was no problem and are mailing it back, but I'm going to overnight them one tomorrow.

I did get to learn how friendly and helpful the PCOM people are, though. 👍

There is an initial $250 deposit due, I think it's two weeks now for the late people.

There is an additional $2,000 due May something. Both are credited towards your tuition in the Fall.
