The PCOM secondary application states that a letter from a premedical advisory committee or Dean or academic advisor must be submitted.

What exactly do they mean by Dean (which Dean is supposed to write the letter), and what is the Dean supposed to write?

Any thoughts?

Hi,
I think the secondary says that the Dean of your college ( the college you graduated from i.e., business college, liberal arts & sciences, etc) should write you a LOR. It will probably be a general LOR (and I think your dean will probably ask to meet you and you may give your personal statement so that he knows what to write) unless you knew the Dean of your college well.

All you need is a letter from your college dean saying that you graduated with good standing.

Our pre-med committee sends out all our letters. I would if this is enough to pass that requirement. They don't send a letter because I have already graduated and did not go through their pre-med committee. I don't live in the same city anymore. I am going to have to call them on Monday and find out if I need anything eles. I hope not.
