With the application process for cardiology fellowship underway, I am hoping to get some insight into some of the southeastern cardiology programs. I have already spoken with the cardiologists at my program, but I want to also get some outside perspectives.

I was hoping to find out about the following programs: Children's National Medical Center, Duke, Emory, MUSC, Vanderbilt, UF, and Miami Children's. I want to know about the focus of the program (ICU vs. consult/Gen Cardiology), large volume vs. small volume, specific specializations the program is known for (MRI, Fetal echo, interventional cath, EP, etc.), and any other distinguishing features I haven't thought of already.

I know that one person will not be able to speak to specifics on all of the programs, but if you can speak to the specifics on just one program that still helps. Thanks!
