Can someone explain the trends that I should look for for each mode of inheritance? I understand what a pedigree is, just not the different types of pedigrees

Thanks.

It is pretty straight forward. First to identify whether disorder is Autosomal or sex linked, u look for whether males and females r equally affected. If yes= it is an autosomal disorder. If there is a gender bias, then it is usuallly Sex (X) linked disease. Then see if the trait skips generations and if affected people have normal parents. If yes= it is is a recessive trait. If not it is dominant! lemme me know if u have any more questions! Good luck
